Was Drew Lock today, and it's not remotely close. Just a sensational performance that completely towers over anything anyone else has done on this team this year.

And he did it without Andrew Thomas, to boot. Not to mention he was able to overcome the supposedly awful coaching and playcalling by Daboll.

Really impressive stuff.

So you admit that you were wrong about Lock being terrible (the excuse you gave for that great Daboll coaching leading to the lowest points per game in the league)?

You can't have it both ways; you can't claim that Lock's performance proved me wrong about Daboll and not admit you were badly mistaken about Lock, which then shows that despite having a quality QB, Daboll can't get it done more often than not.

He may have been wrong about Lock, but he was right about Giants coming through on a 100 to 1 shot. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

My take is the Colts are in disarray and lack focus. Richardson again a no-show..and they took the Giants very lightly..didn't prepare. Second, I think the team felt very embarrassed with their winless streak, especially at home, and really gave maximum effort.. everywhere. It's not indicative of some hope or promise. A flukey win. Period.

Bob,

I knew it was going to happen, as well.  It's the Giants Way.  Stay utterly mediocre forever

Good for Drew Lock. I didn't think he had it in him after last week's performance. He's a likable guy and I'm happy for him because it saved his career. It also with the help of several players saved Brian Daboll's job today.

Was it necessary to break his balls? Was there a veiled shot at you that I missed in his post?

Lock is good for a win a year. That's how he continues to get work in the league as a backup.

Was it the best QB performance since the 2002 season? Maybe further back even

trying to get away with turning  chicken xxxx into chicken salad only works from time to time.

Bowen must go

And with just alittle time Daboll could get a career backup to match jones best career TD performance.  Hell of a coaching job and game plan to turn lock into that

It truly was a remarkable performance from Lock, it's been a long time since a Giants QB has thrown 4 TDs, 1 rushing score and throw for 300+ yards.

He might have played his way into another contract with the team.

He had a good game plan. His only wtf moment was going for 2 with a run.

Kudos to Lock, but did you notice the missed tackles by the Colts? Their defense was as bad as it gets.

Now that Coaching Staff needs to be fired.

Yes, I ignored @kingm56 call out in the game thread, so they decided to make a new post to be sure I saw it

Jeff and I were discussing Drew Lock, and I was the one who had said that Daboll's poor coaching (along with the Giant's dysfunction) was making Lock look like a worse QB than he really was.
