Watching his play against the Falcons, I'm glad Giants didn't pick him. I get this is only his second start but he's too hit-or-miss for me. And the misses were horrible.

And of course, he throws a helluva 4th-and-goal strike to tie the game.

I already acknowledged that it's only his second game. He will improve in some areas and may not in others.

As far as the judging goes, it's ridiculous to call my judgment of him after 2 games ridiculous when we have multiple threads judging draft prospects.

I commented on one aspect of his game. It's not like I said he'll never be good because of it. THAT would be ridiculous.

You can make the claim. People expect QBs to come in and immediately change franchises. Very very rare. Bryce Young was written off earlier this year. Sam Darnold, Geno Smith and Mayfield too. Most QBs need to develop. I wish the Giants had Penix now. Better than anything they have or likely to get. Time will tell.
