That's a silly tweet. As of now the Pats own the first pick overall and they have their quarterback and their GM is good friends with Schoen. We can still end up with our quarterback of our choice but it's going to cost us.

Do you think the Eagles' backups will win next Sunday?

I don't think this dog crap roster has a second game in them. They haven't been consistent all year. I don't see them winning two in a row and unless Nabers has some incentives he's close to earning I'm sitting him to ensure we don't win. I don't care who doesn't like it. Same goes for Burns as well.

If they didn't sit those guys this week like they damn well should have what on earth makes you think they'll do it next week?? The Giants are going to win this game by 2 TDs because no team in the history of the NFL with the possible exception of the Browns have been so aggressive in their pursuit of losing.

I get the idea a lot of people, including myself, would have preferred a defeat yesterday.

But the idea that the world is caving in because of it is wrong. Firstly, we have no idea if they are/were going to bridge the QB position for starters.

Secondly, I'm sure Jefferson and Mike Evans are more than happy with their recycled QBs slinging them the ball.

This tweet is nothing short of hyperbolic, at its best and I'm surprised a fans view requires a start of a thread.

I really think people to need to simmer down a little.

Everything was set up beautifully for them to start turning things around next year.  Get the QB, fill the last few holes, come back healthy in 2025 with a roster that at the very least can compete for a wild card spot.  Instead we get this steaming pile of horse crap shoved down our throats like they've done for the better part of the last decade.

The difference between one of their usual lousy seasons and this one is that they gave us hope that this misery could end and then ripped it away at the last moment.  It was diabolical. Whether it's Tommy Cutlets or Lock or somebody else...Nabers is not going to be playing with even a good QB let alone an elite one...likely for the rest of his Giants career.  I sure hope he had fun yesterday, and I REALLY hope we don't hear him complaining about the QBs next year when they are inevitably awful.

There may have been some guys close to earning incentives and felt compelled to let them try and earn them. Or maybe they're just slow learners. I can't imagine they'd be so stupid as to try and win to make matters even worse, then again they've displayed a stunning lack of competence over the past decade....

The amount of threads spinning the same narrative is absolutely staggering.

Ed Vette

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Don't you get it? The more duplicate and redundant threads you create the more attention you will get. It's against forum rules to just tag your thoughts to the end of one of those threads 10 lines down!

All seriousness who the hell is Brent Handfling or however that is spells and why do we care what he thinks? His tweet is beyond stupid. Lock isn't even signed beyond this year and DeVito will always be a 3rd string QB.
