Interviewing for Jets job but goes after Rodgers.  How stupid.  He's right about Rodgers but poor judgment to talk during interview process. Zero judgment just like his dad.

Rodgers isn't under contract anymore and Woody Johnson wanted to pull him early on in the season, but Saleh shot it down. I think Rex is playing right to his crowd...

Enough "Yes Men" will tell you what you want to hear, sometimes it's good for owners to hear things that aren't being sugar coated, or at least a different point of view.

Cite for the prospect that Johnson wanted to bench Rodgers.

Woody does have a penchant for blow hards, so you could be on to something

Ryan back to the Jets? lol what a clown show, it is always worse somewhere I guess

Was Rex not the last coach to take them to the playoffs?

Genuinely can't remember.

You are correct, back in 2010

I actually think he's (was) a good coach. I don't like him but he was a good coach.

For sure.

Under his leadership, the Jets went to back to back AFC championship games with Mark Sanchez as their QB. In one of those years, they beat Brady and the Pats in Foxborough, and they beat the Peyton Manning led Colts.

How many Jets coaches in the last half century or so have had anything like that kind of success?

I wouldn't blame the Jets at all for going back to Rexy at this point. Their best years since 1998 occurred on his watch.

I don't think his previous hires were really blowhards. Maybe I'm wrong
