Jordan throwing with a sore elbow today. It may be contributing to his inaccuracy.

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

These wildcard games haven't exactly been barn-buners so far.

Brutal.

I would KILL to have a QB with those numbers on this team.

That's not far off what Daniel Jones had in 2022 and the Packers have more talent. I mean the Packers made Malik Willis look great when he couldn't break the 3rd string in Tennessee. So Loves game could be a Daniel Jones sized mirage but it's more likely that he's somewhere in that Derek Carr mold of being decent and really good at times but not elite.

very similar to the first round of the cfp with the disparity in talent.

Quote from: Jclayton92 on January 12, 2025, 06:03:39 PMEvery time I've watched Jordan Love I never get the hype or the justification for paying the guy crazy money for 3300 25 and 10.

All based on a very good 6-8 games at the tail of the season when he was locked in.

It's the perils of the small sample. The best team they beat this year were the Rams.

However, I do think they can still beat the Eagles. But both offenses have been dire.

Pretty much the same every year since they expanded the seeds.

Even then, I'm struggling to remember a decent WC game.

Brooklyn Dave

I could have started a new thread but decided not to . I am watching the Eagles- Packers game and the announcers Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady keep marvelling at the Eagles offensive line . I am not comparing personel , all I am commenting on is that Mehki Becton, a flop as a LT with the Jets is the starting guard on the Eagles OL.

Was it SChoen's hubris or  Daboll's stubborness or both that Evan Neal was never tried out as a guard

Some owners would have fired the two just for the embarrassment that was Hard Knocks.

I must have missed all the wins we enjoyed during Barkley's tenure with the Giants. I wanted Barkley over Jones. However, what's the point of resigning Barkley without a legit QB to pair him with?

killarich

That is such a weak call ... giving Philly the game smh

I talking about Jacob's over Singltary.  He runs much much harder than Singletary.
They could have gone after him

It's the same paradigm as Barkley.  Jacob is 26 and would be worthless without a legit QB.  DS was cheap and is just a stop gap. I'm convinced Schoen knew what he had in DJ and wasn't going to lock himself into pointless contracts until he gets the QB situation fixed.  Jacob's wouldn't have mattered this season.

Yup. In hindsight, this could prove to be quite the vision.

Just have to wait and see where they are in 2-3 years.
