Looking at the 2024 PFF QB prospect grades, they seemed to correlate rather well to year one success.  So, in bold are the top 2025 prospects mixed in with the 2024 grades for last year's class (not in bold).

Jayden Daniels- 94.7
Bo Nix- 93.0
Cam Ward- 92.5
Jaxson Dart- 91.9
Michael Penix Jr.- 91.1
Shedeur Sanders- 91.0
Drake Maye- 90.8
J.J. McCarthy- 90.6
Kyle McCord- 90.5
Caleb Williams- 90.3
Dillon Gabriel- 87.0
Jalen Milroe- 86.8
Will Howard- 84.0
Riley Leonard- 82.3
Spencer Rattler- 77.6
Quinn Ewers- 72.7

So by at least one metric this year's class isn't all that much worse than last year's. Kinda crazy they have McCord and Caleb Williams basically the same because I certainly don't have that but they did have a pretty high success rate. So perhaps if the Giants can take Hunter or another defensive player at #3 but still get Dart later in the 1st round via trade up it would be the best case scenario.

Where Dart ends up is one of the most interesting aspects of this draft.  I could see him rising into the top 10 or falling into the 2nd round and I feel like it's 50-50.

Here's another of my favorite measures-  QBR

Well, we can go round and round about relative strength of QB's in this draft versus 2024, but in the long run we will know what the Giants really think, because as I've said before Pick Three under the circumstances of this particular draft will be great for Giants' fans because it will be virtually impossible for them to hide their true feelings about those two QB's (by issuing post-draft b.s.). If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

The competition they faced is a factor, contrary to what some believe. The Secondary's Sanders faced compared to Dart is notable. How they performed against better competition is a key too. How would Sanders have performed at LSU or Oregon in 2024? How about Ward? Dart? McCord?

Came here to say the exact same thing, the competition in the SEC and BIG10 are completely different than what Ward and Sanders faced. It's a factor in why Beck left Georgia for Miami to raise his draft stock against inferior competition.

I mean Duke in the ACC was a top 15 defense and Jaxson dart went in without his top 2 Wrs and put up 500 total yards and 4 tds by himself. The year before he did it in the peach bowl vs Penn St when they had the top ranked defense. I doubt Sanders or Ward played a top 40 defense outside maybe clemson vs Miami.

Bingo! And this is why players rise and fall in the last two months before the draft. The lightbulb goes off on these guys. I think I said somewhere, I wouldn't be surprised if Jaxson darted up in the draft to the first round.

The simple fact is there will be a QB in this draft that performs better than expected.  Just make sure whoever we pick, it's that guy.

I have no clue who I'd pick if all QBs were available to us...maybe Cam Ward?  :-?? Maybe Sanders?  :-??  Dart?  :-??

It would almost make sense to take the best available player (non-QB), then use the 2nd and maybe the 4th on QBs, then let them fight it out to see who rises to the top. Even though no QB stands out as a sure thing, it's actually a loaded class of QBs compared to most years (quantity wise, not quality wise...but at least a dozen above average). One of them will shake out. Maybe end up with Ewers and Beck...or Gabriel and McCord

Gonna be an interesting draft, that's for sure
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing
