This guy wanted the player of personnel executive for the Anaheim Piranhas to be our new GM? I looked at McClays CV and color me unimpressed.

Identifying talent is less about football and more about the person IMHO.  Anyone can say a player is fast or strong.

Nearly everyone hear loves Abdul Carter.  I think he does not hustle all the time and takes plays off.  That's not a football skill.  I may be wrong but what if I am right?

I was referring to the guy that made the Twitter post. There is no way to tell how involved McClay is or isn't with Jones taking the leas on everything. So it's hard to decipher if he's any good at his job at all, so why would he then want him as our GM if you know nothing about what he's done in the organization.

As much as I dislike the Cowboys, I have to give them their due for identifying and developing talent through the draft.  In fact, I think they are top 3 in the league for those traits.  So you have to think that the guy with these credentials:

Dallas Cowboys (2015–2016)
Senior director of pro/college scouting
Dallas Cowboys (2017–present)
Vice president of player personnel

Would be a GM already if Jerrah wasn't paying him a GM-level salary.
