"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Good for them. In my eyes, a great deal. Has to help Daniels only get better.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

That Giants Secondary is a priority.

9ers could have had an extra first rounder instead of an extra fifth plus net saved $18mm in cap room by trading Aiyuk instead of Deebo. I think I would have preferred that if I were them.

Deebo is always hurt is the problem. Such a presence though. Nice get for the Commanders.

I wouldn't have guessed as low as a 5th.

In 2021 he was 1st team all-pro.  That year he had 1770 scrimmage yards and 14 TDs.  In the 3 years since he has 2800 yards and 19 TDs.

Juaun Jennings playing as well as he did last year probably made the decision easier.

Man, the commanders have really turned around a bad team.

We could have given the 49ers one of our fourth round pick swhich is better than the Commanders 5th. Don't you think he could have helped us a lot?

I agree.

Why wasn't Schoen trying to get involved here?...unless he feels Hyatt will turn it around, we could've used a talent such as this.

Regardless if you use his stats or you use his PFF grades, the 29-year-old appears to be declining.  His salary will be higher than his performance at this point in his career

Rich,

That's what I was trying say with my post.  His production is down significantly and he was entering the last year of a contract.

Matt,

The thing that struck me about Deboo was when a couple of seasons ago he was complaining about rushing the football because he believed it would shorten his career.   That tells me that perhaps he already recognized there were physical issues present and he was trying to minimize them.  So this early decline shouldn't be a surprise.

I think the Niners know he can't stay healthy..Rich  Good move for both teams .Coms will get him playoff ready.. he'll miss time . whatever..but have him for a serious playoff run.
