coggs: Looks like they're still in preseason form; need to put in some serious time rehearsing...

Related problem: on a team that scores so few points, there won't be many occasions to celebrate.

Possible solution: devise a celebration to be used after successfully kicking a field goal.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

Lets see how things shake out before we anticipate the PK and Jamie wearing out their leg again this year LOL.  I've never seen such strong and deep WR corp on the Giants than this group.  On paper we have one of the top WR rooms in the league

Also you are right, we sucked for a long time at moving the ball consistently.  I'm hoping the running game picks up big time this year

TE's are not our strength but hopefully Bellinger re-emerges with Waller gone.

ŴD would stand out as a sneaky threat to make chunk plays with a much better team.

But with our OL, he may be marginalized.

In case you have not noticed, our Oline has been significantly re-stocked with 4 free agents.

It might be a tad early to say how effective they will be and evolve.

Im expecting a significant uptick.  Call me optimistic, Time will tell.  Evan Neal is the big question mark.  If he continues to disappoint, there are quite a few option we now have to replace him.

Also the running game should improve with the new crew. Not dependent and married to one individual

The majority of QBs in the NFL would love to be in Jones shoes with the weapons he now has.

Honestly are we down to one good play reviews to hang our hat on and show praise?  If this were Parcells as HC and someone asked him about WanDale's great play, he'd point out the bad plays he made.  We are setting a low bar with this.

How does one determine if someone had a good day? I mean this is ridiculous to think someone had a good day or bad day. There is no competition, last year the Giants ran a country club. And everyone was going all wow look at this and that. Then when it came time Detroit whooped up on them. I'm not buying the OTA and anything that comes about in preseason. If they run off season like they did last season you can kiss the season goodbye. Just don't buy into the hype. These guys are master manipulators to get you all hyped up for the season so you buy merchandise and tickets.

4 Aces

The story of the offense is the WR trio of Nabers-Robinson-Hyatt.

They are all interchangeable like Daboll wants, and they can line up anywhere to get favorable matchups.

At RB he's got a committee of pig-nosed grinders, taking their consistent 3-5 yards when called upon. The TE's are big blockers.

Personnel-wise, this looks much closer to a Daboll offense than what we've had.

As an added bonus, Slayton is actually a very dangerous WR4. Can't just leave him uncovered.

I wouldn't forget about Slayton or Hodgins just yet either. They probably remind Daboll a lot of Gabe Davis in Buffalo. There isn't a whole lot there, but he is productive, and he's always there.

Then you have Isaiah McKenzie (another Buffalo Bill), Allen Robinson, and Miles Boykin looking for work. It is going to be an interesting camp.

We are permitted a little optimism after finishing 31st in passing yards, 30th in scoring, and 29th in total offense. Additions were needed.
