Are you better protected from mayhem?

If you have Allstate maybe not.

There was a bad storm a few months ago in a nearby town that included high winds and hail. Roofs and siding were damaged. A local news team did a follow up. Every home owner in the area received claim checks from their insurers except for 10 homes. All ten of of these homes were insured by Allstate.

According to the home owners, they presented Allstate with estimates to repair their homes. According to the home owners Allstate severely lowballed them offering money that was well under 50% of the estimates.

Something to think about while you look for coverage.

A long time ago, they pulled Car insurance coverage out of NJ. Cancelled coverages. I never went back when they returned. Same with the French, I will never buy a product made in France.

I love their Mayhem commercials, but I don't use Allstate. Good information for those who do have it though

 I remember years ago, when they had commercials of an accident, a guy laying under his car and the agent was right there handing him a check. YEAH RIGHT.
Allstate is continually one of the worst insurance companies around. Continually.
