I don't think he's shot. Lost a step? Likely. But hardly shot.

I view him as a luxury that we're not yet in position to have. This kind of player to me is a "finishing piece" for a roster ready to compete now.

That's not who the Giants are at the moment.

In the last 3 years he's put up Slayton numbers. He's been wildly inconsistent with an elite qb. He had the 1900 yard season, and the 1100 yard season, but besides that in his entire career he's never broken a 1,000 yards with elite qbs. So imo he's wildly overrated.

You could be right. I'm not overly optimistic on Slayton, but I could be 100% wrong (hope I am)!!!....maybe Slayton has a knockout year if we get Rodgers. Stranger things have happened.
