Craig Morton evokes so much bile in me personally.  First, the Cowboys use the #1 pic (I believe it was the 4 pic) we gave up for Morton to draft Randy White, a perennial All Pro and HOF.

Then, so we could have a vet QB for the coming season, the Gmen acquire QB Steve Ramsey and a 5th round draft pick.  Ramsey never made it past preseason (bum ankles) and the pick swas used to draft Brian DeRoo from Redlands.  Yes Redlands was a school and a forest.  DeRoo spent 1 year with the Giants and 3 years with the Colts.  SEVEN career receptions so I assume he must have been one hell of a special team player.

Again, I knew Morton was the guy. Why I did, I really don't know, but every once in a while, some of these minor trivia facts leap from the back to the front.
