Excellent to hear. I notice Wilson likes to throw deep down the sidelines and Hyatt knows how to get a step. So many times Jones wouod overthrow him or underthrew where he had to slow down. Maybe Wilson will hit the kid in stride

When he catches two in his first game, Daboll will realize the mistake he made last season.

This news makes me very happy. Hyatt has become the new Kenny Golladay: virtually invisible on game day, and doesn't come through when he is targeted. Crying shame because I thought he was an absolute steal in the draft.

Or maybe he's put the work in to run the correct routes.

I mean it's not like the Giants were inundated with talent on offense since his arrival.

They were saddled with an anchor around their neck named Daniel Jones though who couldn't hit Hyatt if his life depended on it.

Great news. Hyatt has to be in the dumps for not given a real chance to shine. For him to hear from the new QB that he's an "unused talent", had to send goosebumps down his arms. Now Hyatt will do whatever it takes to prove to Wilson he is a real talent. Very smart move by Wilson
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Did you know that Jones played in less than half (16) the 34 games of Hyatt's career.

Exactly.

As you'll well remember I was no fan of Jones' play. But put all Hyatt's ills on the shoulders of Jones and/or Dabs is baffling.

I realize that and it's hard to fathom. But in fact what I remember there were many times Jones threw his deep ball and it was nowhere near him or he had to slow up.

Then whatever happened (and something DEFINITELY did with Dabol), he was done and in the doghouse.

I think it's was a brilliant move for Wilson to reach out to Hyatt and maybe it lights a fire under the kid and resets his relationship with Daboll or whoever he upset

Correct. And it's probably not a coincidence that he played his best with Tyrod Taylor. It was the only time he had a QB that could actually hit him.

I mentioned Hyatt when my mindset changed from wanting Rodgers to wanting Wilson

After the resigning of Slayton .... And Hyatt getting one last shot ... Wilson was better suited for the makeup of this team .... Considering he still has an above average deep ball .... And it plays to the strengths of our receivers not named Nabers .... Who obviously can do it all
