I don't think Sanders is comparable to Russ or Jameis, but he is one QB who would benefit greatly from some time on the bench. I was not a fan as a day 1 starter, but now, I feel like I am more open to some of these guys I was original down on. Milroe being another.

By signing Wilson and Winston, Giants remove themselves from being trapped into drafting a QB at 3 or at all.  They wont make the playoffs with Wilsob or Winston but they can field a better team in 2025 especially if they use this draft to upgrade the offense and maybe DT.  They can always look look next year for a QB.

If Sanders is available at 3, having Wilson and Winston may also allow them to trade back at 3 for some additional picks to a more QB needy team.

I do not want to see them take Sanders at 3.  I don't feel that Sanders is better than Hunter/Carter at 3.

Listened to Jordan's podcast that came out yesterday. He discussed a lot of what is being discussed on BBI currently. Below are my notes on what I thought was the most interesting.

- Giants are divided on Sanders. He has his supporters and detractors in the building
- Their evaluation on Sanders is not complete. They put a lot of stock in their private visits.
- The knock on Sanders from his detractors isn't the circus he would bring with his father etc. it is the concern over his limited upside. Does he have the tools and upside to be worthy of a top 5 pick?
- He thinks it is a lock that the Titans are taking Ward
- He mentioned Schefter said recently the Browns may be leaning Carter which would leave us Hunter or Sanders
- There is a possibility that the Giants grade on Hunter is too high for them to pass on him
- Giants will come away from the draft with a QB even if they don't take one at 3.
- Some around the league think Sanders is a round 2 pick if he had a different last name, Ranaan said "Yes, that is a real thing".
- He thinks if the Giants don't take Sanders at 3 he will still go top 10.
- Thinks Dart goes mid to late first round
- Nobody really knows what Aaron Rodgers is thinking, but he thinks there was no way he was coming to the Giants. He would want more stability and a better chance at winning.

Sanders has the highest "floor" of any QB this year, but IMO ("experts" agree) one of the lowest ceilings. In other words, he already IS what he's going to be, which IMO is a high-quality-backup-level NFL QB. Wishing for more is... well, it's probably just wishful thinking. Bob

I could see Sanders thriving in certain types of offenses.  I think the Browns run that sort of offense.  My professional comp for Sanders is a taller Baker Mayfield.
