Whatever Wilson is, I'll take him all day over a 42 year old we'd have to commit not only more money per year to but likely multiple years and a 37 year old QB we'd have had to give large multi-year money plus picks for (Stafford).

Even if Wilson is not as good as those two guys, none of the three are the long term answer and the Giants aren't going to be a true contender with any of them. Taking Wilson gives us a material upgrade over Jones and only a single year commitment. That makes him the best option (in my view at least) for this team and where we are right now in our cycle. This is a stop-gap, not a medium term solution.

It's important Mara sees improvement (especially if we don't draft a QB).

If he doesn't see improvement then next years GM/Coach will select "their guy"

I'd be happy with CB or Edge

What it all comes down to, or so it seems, is whether or not Schoencorp are "all in" in believing that Shadeur Sanders is the Giants Quarterback of the future, and theirs? Until we know that, which is not likely to happen before "the Pick is in", we are left to promote our own precious preferences re best of bpa, a move for Jaxson Dart, a 2nd Day flier and a wait and wing it for our nepo QB Arch Manning assuming he enters the 2026 Draft.

Whether half empty, or half full, until the moment of truth thrills or spills, let's try to enjoy the enigma without having to bash or belittle anyone else.

Cheers!

I don't think Archie wasn't his grandson in NY. In fact, I saw a clip where he was hoping the kid would be a Cowboy
