Big Blue Huddle / Re: Devito takes a stand

People also forget he was benched the moment tyrod was back healthy.

That and Locks numbers over 2 games were significantly better than anyone we had last year.

Quote from: madbadger on Today at 03:52:26 PMWhat does it matter? I can't recall a single time watching him play and thinking to myself he would have made that play if he was 15 pounds heavier.

As a string bean he may not be anle to press any WR.

Last option. Screw him. Loved him when he was here, but he's dead to me now.

I route for the laundry & the team on the front of the uniform rather than the name on the back of the uniform.

Big Blue Wrecking Crew for life!

Big Blue Huddle / Devito takes a stand
Last post by killarich - Today at 05:23:35 PM
He states if he was a third round pick it wouldn't even be a question if he was making this team or not

I for one think he should make the team .... Not only do I think he should make the team I think he should've been the main backup behind Jones and Lock should have never been signed .... But that's just me

He came in and won 3 straight games

I think letting him go could (not would) be a mistake

He has the blood and genetics of the man once termed "The Conscience of the NFL." His father was ridiculed as antiquated as well. But nobody who knew Wellington Mara, to a man, would dare suggest he didn't care about his Giants, or the welfare of the National Football League.

That legacy was passed to John following his father's passing in 2005. He may remain unpopular with the fans, but it is clear he is dedicated to live up to father's beliefs in doing what is best for the league and its players.

But it's a far different environment in today's NFL than the one Wellington left behind. What would Wellington, or George Halas, think about the league in its current state now?

For those reasons, Rich @MightyGiants , you are absolutely correct in your assessment of John Mara.

Peace!

P.S. Hoping things are getting a little better for you, day by day.
