Also I work in film/TV for my Job and everything I've been told is season 5 of Yellowstone will be it's last in its current interation as Costner only wants to film one week per every 8 episodes and is screwing over the whole cast. Biggest show out right now and he wants to mess it up.

Other things I've heard:

There will be a 2nd season of 1923 for sure.

There will be a 1940s and 60s version of the 1883 and 1923 miniseries.

There will be a new show based on the Texas outfit the boy visits in Yellowstone and he will be one of the main characters.

Lastly Matthew McCaugnhey Will be taking over for Costner unless he changes his tune and it will carry the show or a new show forward with a ton of the same cast.

Plus Tulsa king season 2 is already filming and as soon as Jereny Renner gets healthy season 3 of mayor of Kingstown will start.

Also for Reacher season 2, they've almost finished filming and should be out this year.

Lastly I know Ozarks was supposed to be final but they are already talking of bringing it back either through a spinoff or just waiting a year and bringing it back because it does huge numbers.

Good inside information...thanks. I knew Costner was causing problems with Yellowstone going forward. It's been all over the news. And I already knew about Jeremy Renner and have been following his progress. Again, thanks
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Paramount in general is typically a mess. I work for the mouse and it isn't much better as we are typically a mess to but know how to put out content.

Great stuff J, thanks.

It's amazing how busy and successful Taylor Sheridan has been with all these projects. Just goes to show that even in the present day, the American audience still has a huge appetite for westerns.

ok, I just finished watching the movie "The Menu". From the few ads I had seen I thought it was going to be some sort of remake of "The Most Dangerous Game". I wish it was.
This movie was just awful!
It moved along at a snail's pace, Anya-Taylor Joy's character was the only character in the entire cast that was anywhere near likeable, and the whole premise was just unbelievable.
As things are revealed and things happen to these people attending this dinner, their reactions are nowhere near realistic.
I don't really come on here to give things negative reviews, more to pass along things I think people might like, but The Menu was just so bad I needed to vent about wasting an hour and 45 minutes of my day!

I'm with you Ozzie. I did not like The Menu at all.

Movies I have seen recently that I have enjoyed:

Tar

Excellent drama with a great lead performance by Blanchett. Good, involved plot. It's a bit long but it's good.

Aftersun

This one really haunted me. Extremely well done. A very thoughtful film depicting depression and showing how tricky it can be to see sometimes.

Banshees of Inisherin

Mixed feelings about this one but I liked it. It's a little slow, and you could argue there isn't much to it, but I still enjoyed it. Farrell is a superb actor.

I love western ministries. There seems to be a conservative wave that is spiking and every studio is trying to get a piece of it right now.

I haven't seen anyone mention this Netflix series, 'YOU'. Season 4 Part 1 is starting tomorrow. Part 2 will be released March 9th.

I watched the first 2 seasons of You a while back and did like it. For some reason, I just never started the 3rd season. When I get Netflix back, I will definitely give it another look and glad to see they have started season 4.

Have watched the Netflix Documentary on Bernie Madoff last night.

Just finished the first season of "Tulsa King" (Paramount Plus). It's the best show I've watched since I finished "Breaking Bad" and "Ozark". Can't wait for season 2  :(

I had reservations about another mob story, especially with Sylvester Stallone, and Oklahoma of all places, but this show hits on every cylinder and is probably the reason it's the most watched show on television right now. Must be the word is getting out

Taylor Sheridan is to television what Steven Spielberg is to movies. The man is a master!

Tulsa King is definitely on the radar. In a few words, is it violent, like something my missus would avoid--you know, blood, guts etc or just a deccent drama?

As I have said, we are away and while looking for content to watch, we saw a movie that I recognized the title and thought I had heard decent enough things about, "Licorice Pizza" and it was even up for Best pix Oscar so why not try it?

Briefly--story-- Young teen (who looks more like a young adult) is infatuated, and tries to woo, an older young lady (who looks more like an older teen). The first half of the movie is very cute in the ways he tries to involve himself in her life and get her to go out with him. About 1/2 way thru, Sean Penn makes an appearance and then, IMVHO this movie takes a complete nose dive into hell. (well, not hell) but the cuteness and the pizzazz that made the first half good was completely gone, and it deteriorated more and more as the movie went on. We thought it was over  at a certain point, but NO, it had to go on another 20 minutes or more. WHY, I have no idea, but if we weren't so much invested in it, we would hae just skipped to the end and be done with it. How this movie was nominate for a best pix aard is beyond me. Maybe it is the fact that we are old and would like a sort of love story to be exactly that, but not here. I won't give any more away, but I would not recommend this movie to anyone, well maybe some teens who loved the characters.

I have seen some horrible movies be nominated and even win Best Pic Oscar, but this has to join the crowd as one of the worst.

bad as that other movie was, we were not to be deterred from finding something we both can watch and enjoy.

What we found last night was a show, ' Why Women Kill"  Ashttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt9054904/ a sort of dark comedy from the guy who brought us Desperate Housewives, which both my lovely wife and I just loved. So why not give this a try/

Briefly, it tells the story of 3 women who all lived in this same house only from generations apart. woman 1, in the 1960s, woman 2 in the 1990s and woman 3 in 2019. In all cases, they are married and find out their husband have cheated on them what are they going to do about it? It shows how different generations might handle this situation, some very funny, others a bit more poignant. We are 3 chapters in and are enjoying what we are seeing so far. It is cute and funny, and as a happily married man, we can look at each other and say "Poor wife/husband" or whatever. I look forward to watching a few more chapters tonight.
