Whoever they are looking at will have to be good in pass-pro because Singletary is not.

RB by committee is the way it go for most teams anymore. It helps when you have differing types of RBs to mix and match with the adversary we face on the game day. That, and like relief pitchers in baseball are rotated to throw batters off their comfort zone or to match up to a particular batter, we need a variety of styles in our RBs. A bit of a sleeper pick that I'd like to see is Carson Steele. Listed as a RB (which is the position he plays), but is built more like a FB. He's a bruiser at 6-1/245 (although he lost 18 lbs for the combine and measured an inch shorter 6-0/228 lbs), and very strong; hence, can block when not the carrier. He made Bruce Feldman's "Freak List" for the second year in a row, coming in this year at no. 21

"21. Carson Steele, UCLA, running back

He made the Freaks List last year before having a monster season for Ball State, rushing for 1,556 yards. Not bad for a guy who only had one FBS scholarship offer. The Bruins were elated to get him in the transfer portal. Steele, at 6-1, 243, has wowed his new teammates with his strength. He bench-pressed 450 pounds and squatted 685. His wheels have been impressive too, clocking 20.96 MPH and vertical-jumping 35 inches.

Steele, with his long flowing locks, looks like a fit in Hollywood. He also owns a pet alligator named Crocky-J.

'He's a dawg,' says Bruins center Duke Clemens. 'He's huge. He's like a bowling ball. I always see him in the weight room doing extra work after we're done with our workouts. You know why he is the way he is. I'm excited for him this year. He definitely can plow some people. You're gonna see that this year'."

I know one thing about him...and that is, that I'd like to have his hair...looked like my hair back when I was 20 yrs old...now I'm bald

Not me Jolly. I watch a lot of UCLA....this dude isnt that good IMO

It has always been odd that Jones is was the physical back and Dillon was the finesse back in the Green Bay Offense. You would think it would be the other way around. Like you, I am not interested in Dillon.

I have no problem with Ray Davis, but what does he bring to the table that differs from Singletary, Brightwell, Gray, Corbin, Jackson, etc? I'm thinking "huge, strong, and can help block to protect the QB or to free others in a play"

I'd call and bring in Rashaad Penny for a workout...probably chep and a good 1-2 punch with Singletary + Eric Gray

Ray Davis isn't a freak like Jacobs He is more compact with speed, vision and cutback ability. Really effective type of runner that has a burst. Would be a nice fit with Singletary. 5th year senior who never lost a fumble too. 14 tds last year.

I like Davis and would have no problem using a day 3 pick on him

Aaron Jones. Played very well in the last five or so games last year. GB released him after signing J Jacob's.
