Why do these injuries seem to plague the positions with the least talent and depth? If he tore something and is out an extended period of time who is going to play RT while Neal's balky ankle is refusing to cooperate? This sucks.

Not good news but I'll hold off until I know what it is before blowing a gasket.

The mitigating factor here is that Eleumenor is an established vet who has already played at a solid level under Carmen. While there is nothing positive about him missing a week or two of camp, and I hope that doesn't happen, it's less terrible with someone like him than it would be with rookies or new players who have had zero exposure to this coaching staff.

Growing up with football in the 60's-70's if you could move your appendages you played. Does anyone who was a fan 50-60 years ago remember players getting oblique strains? Did players even have obliques back then?     It was always a pulled someting, a broken bone, or the then dreaded ACL.

I remember a few years ago, Pugh, Richburgh and Flowers were talking tough about having to stay on the field an establish continuity. They were getting called out by O'Hara and the old guard in the press.

After the 1st couple practices, all 3 were sitting out.

It's a toughness thing, and the Giants OL has lacked toughness for a long time, and it shows up on gameday.

Looks like he caught an elbow or something to the ribs. Hopefully nothing serious.
