Here's what gets me. Why did so nany members breathe life into his silly repetitive threads?  I personally gave some leeway, because he came across as an elderly member. I did not engage, but I have a soft spot for elderly / lonely after watching dementia steal my mom's mind. 

Had to be done.  Kudos as always to the mods of this site for keeping it the best place for Giants discussion there is.

What a disgrace--to be banned for life about talking about FOOTBALL and his favorite team--when every one of us could have done something about it---stop feeding this individual. To my understanding this is not a NATO or NASA chat site.  Its FOOTBALL for cryin out loud!!!!

It's no wonder I wake up every day and ask my self--what am I going to encounter today in this upside down world that I am a part of

I have been a message board regular for 25+years and I can tell you 100% it would not matter if he was "fed" or not. He would have had entire conversations with himself if it came down to it.

True, but that does nothing to diminish the fact that he was completely responsibly for his own behavior and fate.

The one thing I still find curious is that he didn't make a single post between 7/24 and 8/7.  Was he suspended?

Anything I contributed to one of his posts was sincere and genuine. The worst would be throwing in a little rib tickler in jest, but with no intent at all to disrespect.

When you attempt to communicate openly, respectfully in good faith, and correspondence is returned without acknowledgement of your effort to engage but, instead, be dumped on with yet another incessant rant, it speaks one of a few possible scenarios:

1. Tommy "Chicken Cutlets'" first agent who got fired looking to make ammends

2. President of the (yet to exist official) Tommy "Chicken Cutlets" Fan Club.

3. Someone who is off their medicine

4. Someone who is very bored with their existence and chooses counterproductive means to "get in the game of life."

Whatever the case, sufficient grounds for dismissal for aggravated failure to comply with the terms and conditions for membership in this great forum has been both proven and adjudicated.

A little bit of outrageousness, once in a while is fine, and sometimes funny. But when it becomes counterproductive, and the guilty party does not correct their behavior when asked to, the moderators are then within their authorization to act accordingly.

Thank you, moderators, for all you do to make this the Quality Giants' forum of choice!

That's the thing.  I don't think it mattered.  I am talking about the posting style.  Joined, immediately dove right in constantly posting. Posting more often than anyone except for Rich and kept belaboring the same points over and over again.

Dan,

With sincere respect, I have to disagree with you that the rest of this forum should feel guilty and blame themselves for someone else's subpar behavior. Adults should be responsible for their own actions.

With a small handful of exceptions, in my experience, members here are respectful the vast majority if not all the time, and the level of discourse here is of a high standard. This guy was not just posting inane things - he was doing it over and over again and with the very clear intention of stirring the pot and getting reactions out of people. His agenda here was not to have intelligent and respectful conversations about the Giants. He had other motives. That was pretty obvious. That is on him, not the rest of us.

Did some take the bait more than others? Yes, for sure. That doesn't mean they're the guilty party though and that trolling behavior should be tolerated. Not in my opinion at least.

Is it acceptable to have someone post idiotic claims, and subpar content in a forum that boasts being of informed fans? Is that acceptable contribution? We have beat reporters, journalists and podcasters who come to this site for ideas and as a barometer of the fan base. We also have loyal members who come here for intelligent discussion and camaraderie. Should we waste their time and energy sifting through subpar content?

I understand one cannot be certain, but I personally would be SHOCKED if BluesCruz was BlueFire. They had totally different agendas. In addition to their starkly different views on Daniel Jones, BlueFire was also a religious fanatic to an extent that I would call disturbing, in that he used his "faith" as a crutch anytime he got busted for plagiarism or other acts of dishonesty. Both were trolls, but BluesCruz had a different style and had different priorities, IMO.

The fact that many of their tendencies were the same points more to the fact that trolls are rampant throughout online communities. It's not like there aren't tons of these types of people in all corners of the internet. Of course more than one of them will make their way to this site from time to time.

Sorry but it's not our problem to just ignore him if he is really excessive flooding this board with the same thing or crap.

Maybe you are right on Blue Fire specifically and it was someone different.  But, there have been too many the past 6 years or so.  Seems like we get someone new as the draft approaches.  Started with manning ocruz or cruz missle or something like that.  Went on and on about Barkley.  And, a few of them were quite religious.
