One of my favorite shows of all time and one of the few I got addicted to in my lifetime. I had to wait each week for the next episode because it wasn't on a streaming platform when the first eight series came out. Great characters and Red is...well...dangerous, yet suave. He and Elizabeth make the show incredible. I don't think they could have gotten a better actor than James Spader to play Reddington, who is defined by Hollywood as being able to "portray an eccentric and morally ambiguous character", which really sums him up. I promise not to drop any spoilers...only to say, "it's one of the top shows ever produced by NBC and has a similar intensity as Ozark and Breaking Bad"

And the hits just keep on coming. Going to be a good Fall for sequels. As I mentioned before, a slew of sequels of our favorite shows are dropping this month and next ("Night Agent 2", "Tulsa King 2"...and "Only Murders in the Building 4" and "Bad Monkey" already dropped, but those two on a once a week basis). Now, add to the previous list, and we are also going to get "Lincoln Lawyer 3" (dropping Oct. 17) and "Outer Banks 4" (dropping Oct.10)...both on Netflix

Autumn is going to get a lot of TV time, especially considering the NFL games are also kicking off

We are currently watching The Tower. It's a British police drama. Only 3 episodes per season and the pacing is pretty good. Although the misapplication of criminal law is maddening - That aside, it's worth a look. We burned through season 1 last night.

I'm not sure if you guys get smaller British  shows in the States but it's worth a search.

I still have my BBC and Sky access from my time living there and have the VPN, so I can get a lot of these shows. I will look into this one.

British crime dramas are absolutely awesome. Broad Church, Luther, and Happy Valley were among my favorites. The Fall was very good too. There have been numerous others.

It's certainly worth a look. It's on a par with Happy Valley, so far. 

Also if you've not seen Line of Duty that's probably my favourite British Crime show.

I started that and then got sidetracked and never picked it back up. I should. Everyone I know in the UK who likes crime thrillers says it's amazing. I can now add you to that list. I should get on it.

Another good British thriller was the miniseries "The Sixth Commandment." True story about a seriously twisted individual who preys on the elderly. Really creepy stuff. These things are always creepier when they're real.

I believe it's only four or five episodes. My wife and I blew through it in a weekend.

Very unsettling but very good IMO.

Yup.

Very entertaining and engaging show. I would recommend it. Saarsgard is a legitimately great actor, and Gylenhall is solid as usual.

While I won't give anything away and am not necessarily referring to the ending in any way, I would not let the fact that you may have watched the 1990s movie of this (if you in fact have) be a reason to not watch this show. It is completely different on a number of levels.

 Just finished watching 'House of the Dragon' and enjoyed it very much. Season 2 was much better than season 1, with lots more characters and action, but still nowhere near Game of Thrones.

If you are a fan, I would recommend it. You don't have to have watched GOT to enjoy this it is a completely different entity. Many of the family names are alike, but this was supposed to have happened about 100 years prior to GOT. The only similarity is that they still all want to be seated on the Iron Throne and rule the 7 Kingdoms. After that House of the Dragon is a stand-alone series.

Yes, decent legal thriller. Worth a look.

Tulsa king and Yellowstone coming back among others makes me happy just hope they don't drop the ball.

Lord of the rings, and Hot D both dropped the ball imo on seasons 2 and the recent season of mayor of Kingstown was dull because Hawkeye was still recovering from being run over by a snow plow in real life.
