Quote from: T200 on September 15, 2024, 08:30:22 PMI get it... you're not happy with anything Daboll does. You're ready for him to be unemployed by the Giants.

But you did say "rookie" and I gave an example of a rookie who was likely consulted by his coach on plays during a game. Now you're changing it to "rookie WR".

It's all good. As you said, we'll agree to disagree.

I still support Daboll and don't think he should be fired... yet.

I didn't see the part where you said anything about a rookie. If I missed that I apologize.

I can't ever imagine Parcells or Coughlin going to a rookie and asking him what play to run. Now I understand why we aren't throwing to the TE. Daboll hasn't even thought about it. But I promise we will read here down the road how Bellinger stinks or has taken a step back

If you meant Eli being consulted by Coughlin, I would not think Tom would ask Eli when he was a rookie. Maybe down the road yes. But not a rookie.

I was all for Dabs. But he has made so many questionable moves the past 2 years and this stuff about not having used all our roster spots is just hard to fathom. Maybe he and Schoen are attempting to save some $ or something by not guaranteeing pay from practice squad to active roster

Quote from: T200 on September 15, 2024, 08:02:41 PMHow is that any different than asking the QB what plays he's most comfortable running and executing? Watching plays from the sideline is much different than being on the field.

I don't see anything wrong with picking the star receiver's head. If he sees how the defenses are playing him or if he was open on a particular play or route, why not share that with your coach?

You can find a lot of issues with Daboll; actually making a player feel heard or seek his input is a good trait, not bad.

After his acting like a schlub on hard Knocks and then the start of this year, and his going into the game with 52 active and no back up kicker.  I have had enough.

He's a lowlife piece of garbage.  I'm embarrassed he's the head coach of this team.  Acts like an ass on the sidelines and then acts like an ass in the post game.  He can't be gone soon enough.

This is like the 4th time you've called him a lowlife. He's a football coach who isn't doing a very good job. Does that make him a lowlife?

Would disgusting slob be better?  I've seen enough of his idiocy on the sidelines, on Hard Knocks and in post games.  When he wins something he can act like Belichick times one hundred.

I just don't see the need for derogatory name-calling just because a guy has made bad decisions in his job.

I get the disappointment for the umpteenth year in a row but we're better than that and should be able to voice our displeasure with any facet of the team without the juvenile tactics.

Why is he a lowlife? His behavior seems more or less what you expect from a losing coach I would think. Are there really any good answers tp press conference questions when you are 0-2 yet again? Not sure what class has to do with anything.

Daboll has been forced to scheme and play around a terrible quarterback's deficiencies and weaknessess and it doesnt always work.

Give him a real QB and another player or 2, and we will start thinking differently of him most likely.

Bowen has another week before I am highly concerned about him though

Daboll had no problem throwing Jones under the bus last year during a game in Seattle. He's throwing equipment already this year.

But never taking any responsibility himself. He's been a clown on the sideline and the giants stink.

It all starts with him.

Especially if you don't want to lose the locker room. You make everyone a participant, and everyone should take even more accountability.

That's almost a direct quote from his presser. He's taking all the blame for everything. Even though his QB let him down in week 1 and his kicker may well have lied to him about being good to go in game 2.

He downplayed the injury saying gano made a 49 yarder in warm up so he didn't feel the need to elevate a guy when there was a roster spot open!

This is like the third or fourth time in the last two year he rolled with a previous injured player who got hurt in warmups with no backup plan.

That's ineptitude at its finest.
