Anyone sad that Barkley cost the Eagles the game?

Oh great. Only 2 games in and Giants fans are probably ready to OBJ Nabors out of town. This is why we can't have nice things.

I dont see the big deal, the kid made a bad drop and was upset about it, he clearly cares

If you're referring to my post, you absolutely read it wrong.

I am referring to NOT asking a rookie receiver "what he would like" in terms of plays called....i was not referring to anything about OBJ situation or running anyone out of town. It was about keeping our rookie humble and stay grounded. Seeing him explode like that tells me he is too comfortable and when coach is asking him about what plays he wants (in my opinion), it only adds to a problematic situation that can grow from there

Are you seriously even invoking "OBJ" as if he was some kind of victim in a petty misunderstanding?

Yup, he used the OBJ Card. lol

Any whine in the vineyard. Still, it's not as distracting as Peticide.

Cheers!

Did I quote you? NO! It's not all about you.

As for invoking the OBJ card give it time. It will happen with Nabors. Old School Giants fans can't deal with any star receiver with a personality.

As for me, I didn't laugh. I still love and respect Saquon. Not happy that he's an Eagle and glad they lost to a chump team, so there's that

I wonder how the Eagles fans will talk about Saquon now that they witnessed a flaw, and in return, lost the game. Will he get down on him and give him the Slayton/Engram treatment. Maybe
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Has it really gotten so bad in Giants fandom that our only victory can be found in schadenfreude?

Yeah I'm not sure what the big deal is either.  Of course with click bait titles like "Malik Nabers Seen Blowing Up On", it's what you get.  The dude was just upset.  I get it.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

When it comes to the Eagles and their jack*** coach and traitor Barkley....

Yes, it's more than just ok. It's great!

what happened to Barkley
(missing a pass to seal game). is nothing new in my opipion....several times as a Giant he would do something stupid at the end of a winable game to put the game back in doubt.
example ; running out of bounds in last two minutes of game while trying to run out clock.
Jets game last year , Giants have ball inside jet 15 with the lead and he for some reason (on third down ) he goes to the ground 4 yards short of a first down,,, replay showed he clearly could have made a first down if he stayed on his feet....Gano misses easy FG. Jets get ball and go length of field and kick winning FG as time expires. Several other times he has done real mind boggling things late in a game to put the outcome in jeopardy..... great player But ?

uh yep.  And I'm sure it won't be the last time, although I'm also just as sure there won't be any threads here from the same folks that don't care when he rings it up like last week.

It takes a good, bitter amount of GIants fan bias to blame that one drop on the Eagles losing.  When the play should never have been called, when the Eagles let Kirk Cousins walk down the field in less than a minute to score a TD, and then when all Hurts needs is a FG and promptly throws a game-ending INT.  And that's just the screwups in the last 2 minutes.

I'm still a Saquon fan but if we're being honest, his hands aren't the best. He's had plays like that for us as well and he stonehands the ball.

Additionally, if he catches that ball, the rest of your post doesn't happen. He effectively ends the game with a catch, even without getting a first down.
