I don't know why this is a surprise?  Devin Singletary has always been a good RB; you don't achieve a career 4.6 YPC if you're just average.  His problem has always been workload; he's never carried the ball more than 216 times a year, and when he did have more than 200 carries, he achieved a career low 4.2 YPC.  At 5'7/200 lbs, you have to put him on a pitch count.  Still, he's always been a good all-around back. 

Just hoping for zero fumbles on Thursday. 

Our roster stinks compared to Cowboys (IMO).

We can't beat them if we give up any fumbles or pick-sixes.

Personally, I've always liked him and wished the Giants would sign him the first opportunity he became available in the market. With Barkley moving on, and his availability this offseason, it was like serendipity that he found his way to the Giants and I knew the running game would be all right.

The biggest observation in his game is protecting the football as he is about to be gang-tackled. Also, he naturally carries the ball with his right arm; even when he is on the left side of the field. I'm a bit surprised that running backs aren't globally taught to switch the ball to the arm closest to the sideline (NOTE: Tiki Barber being the prime example of this under Tom Coughlin). Yes, his fumbles need to get cleaned up since the one from last week ended up going the distance, in the other direction, for a FG. Thankfully, his fumble yesterday did not impact the game.

I'm starting to see him and the O-Line become more comfortable with each other and working in unison as a team. Hopefully, they will continue to gel and build on that as the season progresses.

So, for now, even in spite of his turnovers, I'll give Singletary two thumbs UP for providing continuity and some consistency in the Giants' running attack.

I liked him before he joined the Giants. Solid runner and get the yards you need and break it on occasion as e did at the end of yesterdays game, but he has to hold onto the football. Otherwise it is a different story.

Anyone concerned about his 2 fumbles to date

He had fumbling problems in Buffalo and some Coach helped him fix that, at least for a little while. I think his name was Daboll.

His history is losing a fumble every 72 carries. It what it is.

I'm impressed so far.  Don't quote me on this, but I thought the announcers said he had 1 fumble last year.  I finally got to seer the 1st episode of hard knocks.  Upgrade O line, get dynamic WR, get appropriate return on capitol at RB has seem to play out well.

The one against Washington, I thought was just a damn good play by the defender, and less something he desevred blame for. Yesterday was on him though.

Either way, its still 2 in 2 weeks, so something he needs to be focused on.

In the Washington game, he should've had the ball in the other hand.  As a ball carrier you always want the ball in the hand that is closest to the sideline.

Maybe it's a #26 thing because that was my biggest gripe about Saquon. Put the damn ball in the outside arm for crying out loud!!!
