I wonder what percent of players have had 2 or more concussions.  I mean including college, high school and whatever else.

The question about him attending a concert while still in concussion protocol is very valid.  I can't imagine there's a doctor out there that would suggest that's a good idea.

Hopefully by the time he gets back DJ will have gotten comfortable again with a wide variety of pass catchers...Wandale, Slay, Theo, Tracy/Singletary.....  so that Nabers' target share goes down.  That target share is simply unsustainable to keep him healthy and on the field.  When the defense knows exactly where you're going in key situations, they can bear down/faster/harder.  Personally, I think that's exactly what happened at the end of the Dallas game.

Looking good so far.

He hasn't looked good. He's looked great.

He got hurt. So did OBJ his rookie year. OBJ missed four games due to injury.

He went to a concert.  It's not that big of a deal.

Antonio Brown was your typical diva WR unitl he got concussed against the Bengals. Then he went mental, now toasted. I prefer Nabers sit out another game with the Bengals porous defense to face.

another # 1 that can't get on the field

I can only share my personal experience from the series of concussions I've sustained before.

Immediately afterward, no, it's not a good idea after having your bell rung but good since your brain function has been disrupted (NOTE: results will vary by individual and impact of injury sustained). My experiences in the first moment to the next 12 hours ranged from headaches, light-headed dizziness, loss of hearing at certain frequencies, cognitive processing degradation, sleepiness, tinnitus (i.e. ringing in my ears). Within 48 hours, most of these symptoms subsided.

After my last concussion, the worst of six I believe I've had experienced, I had the above symptoms for nearly two weeks. In addition, my eyes were very sensitive to light and had to draw the blinds and/or shades in the room. Huge tinnitus which, to this day, has never subsided. Occasional periods where my brain is processing something (e.g. reading or speaking) and I'll suddenly stop, for no reason, for about a second, lose my train of thought, remember, and then continue. But loud music doesn't bother me and didn't bother me AFTER the headaches subsided.

As for Nabers, his decision to attend a concert is likely a personal one outside the NFL Concussion Protocol once he cleared its earliest stages. About the only issue it would cause is journalists attempting to stir $%it up from it because, well, they have to sell papers and/or clicks to sell.

Once he clears all five stages, all doctors sign off on him and, most importantly, HE feels he is ready to go, then that's when he should be dressed.

Peace!
