Excellent show. Sheridan just has it. I can't wait for the second season of the Lioness show. The first one was absolutely awesome (even though it was unrealistic).

Loved it, Mayor of Kingstown, yellowstone, and so on. Sheridan can't go wrong at this point imo.

I couldn't help myself and delved into "Bad Monkey" (Apple). It's painful waiting week to week for the next episode. I'm still waiting to start the new "Only Murders in the Building" (Hulu) and "Tulsa King" (Paramount+) so that I can binge it once they are complete. If anyone is wondering, Bad Monkey is great (7 episodes have dropped of the 8 episode series...one to go...next Wednesday)
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

We are getting close to the final season of Yellowstone (or maybe not). The second half of Season 5 will debut on Nov 10, first on Paramount and then on CBS. As has been reported Kevin Costner, the main star of the series will not be in these new episodes (that should be a trick).
This means to me, that I now have to go back and rewatch the first half of Season 5, as I can't remember what I had for breakfast today.
So looking forward to this show.

Eli Manning's "Undercover with Baker Mayfield". On YouTube. Very funny.

We discovered Showtrial on the BBC iPlayer. It was good - 5 episodes of around an hour which centres on the disappearance of a university student. Decent legal procedure drama, although some of the procedural errors annoyed me. Nevertheless, it's worth a look.

Interestingly (for me, at least), it's set in the City I was born and raised in, Bristol.

Thanks Ed. Sounds like something  might be into.

Given I don't have the expertise you do on criminal proceedings, hopefully I won't be as bothered by some of the errors.

True and they are minor. But if even still, if you enjoy courtroom dramas, this is a good one.

I finished watching Monsieur Spade on Netflix. Clive Owen plays a retired private eye living in France during the 1950's.

After six nuns are murdered, Spade gets embroiled with spies and underground groups all looking for the same thing.

Spade is quick witted and the dialogue is mostly in English but it's also in French with English subtitles. I liked it.

Finished up Bad Monkey (Apple+), Monday night. Very good show. I'd love to hear someone (anyone) else's opinion on it

Lost patience and jumped into Only Murders in the Building (Hulu), as well as Tulsa King (Paramount), so I'm not able to binge. Have to wait each week for the next episode. That sucks!

I read that the second season of Citadel (Netflix) is dropping soon and I was excited...until I learned that it will be a whole new cast and a different plot...hence, no Priyanka Chopra  :'(

Yesterday I watched the latest in a long line of BAD Steven King movies, and I can add another. On MAX they put out a new version of Salem's Lot. I saw the original way back when and it was OK (the book was great though) and now, in my search for a good horror/even scary movie, I decided to try this. I LOVE vampire movies, even if it is very hard to find a good one. Where is Bela Lugosi or even Christopher Lee when you need them?

It started out OK but then really fell into clique heaven and by the beginning of the end, well it should have been the end of the end. Even if you are a huge fan of Steven King, I would pass on this.

I am also watching t his new series on FX Grotesquerie https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31458276/

It sounded interesting and when I started watching, it reminded me a lot of Fargo, well, at least thru half of it. Lots of interesting characters doing all sorts of things. I am thru episode 6 as of now, and I am wondering if I will continue till the end, as it has really petered out, at least for excitement and even common sense.
I won't go into any detail of the plot as you can pick it up from the link. This might appeal to some as it did me, but why I seemed to have lost interest, maybe the Fargo link just never got there.

A few good horror movies (with a sense of humor - the only way I can watch them), "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil" (on Prime); "The Baby Sitter" (on Netflix), "Totally Killer" (on Prime); and an obscure one that stars Katherine Heigl (an incredibly evil wife) and her cheating husband Patrick Wilson, as well as John Belushi, and a really hot chick, etc., called "Home Sweet Hell" (on Prime)

Some scary moments, but enough comedy that you can sleep at night...LOL

Personally, I can't watch gory horror movies, unless it's a comedy that is not over the top in humor

I'll keep saying this until I'm blue in the face. Find and watch the Swedish film "Let the Right One In." (2008). It has a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the vampire being a "young" girl I think it may just be my favorite vampire movie I've ever seen, and like you Len, I love vampire movies.

**Do NOT waste your time with the 2010 US remake, "Let Me In." It's worse than very bad!!

**I see it was also made into a Showtime series in 2022. Skip this one too.
