Most QBs will not be as good as Jayden in a few years from now.

The Giants will need to be elite in other areas to be able to compete.

Honestly I have no answers for this as it doesn't look good
He is very good ....but he has good players around him and very good O coordinator very good....look at all the time he had on crucial plays. Especially at end of game. He is very good but a good team as well

The Giants stopped the Commanders twice today with three and outs. Other than that, they marched the ball up and down the field. Banks got beat again. There was no pressure on the QB.

The officials once again made a ridiculous call to bring back a TD.

Chris Hubbard was awful and eventually the Giants needed to give him help on every pass play. There were also several key drops.

Jones was decent and ran the offense the best he could. Jones was "locked in" games 2 to 4 yet the Giants lost.

I read "Jones isn't a difference maker" in the final comments and just shook my head. It's not all about the QB. The other 21 players, the coaches, the officials, breaks, turnovers etc. all affect Ws and Ls.

But if we just change the QB all will be well ... right?

Quote from: Trench on November 03, 2024, 04:07:14 PMNope. He lost. There were numerous times he didn't make a play. He is exactly what we hear in pre season practices from the beat writers: it's either hot or cold
No "he" didn't lose. The Giants did.

The Washington score at end of half was inexcusable

And all will be well if they keep him?

If you feel there are other issues or bigger issues fine, but there is no one on earth that can win with Jones.

I agree. Jones played good enough to win a game today . Defense was awful and coaching was not good.
As you say it is a team game

Why do you insist on propping up that straw man?

I was getting ready to "like" your post up until that.

I challenge you to find one post blaming Jones for the loss today. It's all been on Daboll and the defense. But that isn't enough for you.

We know you hate Daniel Jones. But why you continue to personally attack posters who think differently than you is pathetic and not acceptable behavior on this Board.

Again with the hyperbole and mischaracterization. But because you said it, it must be true, right?

All of my posts are available. Please show me where I said I hate Jones and post the evidence of me personally attacking someone.

I'll wait...

Edit to add: I'm not the only moderator on this site. If you felt there was a post that I personally attacked a poster, feel free to use the REPORT function.

What I hate are the hyperbolic responses/narratives from three posters that emerge following every marginal performances by DJ.  You know, nobody is asking you to admit that your were wrong, right?  There's really no need for these strawman arguments/narratives that you perpetuate.

Well said.........But a new QB in future is the right move.....I would like to see a " Joe flaco" kind of QB to play (in the interim) and see what talent this team actually has in the skill positions.

He also didn't elevate his team when it matters most the way a good QB should
