If I was DJ's friend and the team didn't release him (and significant organizational changes weren't made) that is what I would suggest to him, even if he would have to return some of his signing bonus.

The Giants haven't drafted a QB since Jones in 2019, that is longest stretch since the 50's

The Front office has purposely not had competition

Still hard to ignore the countless mistakes in so much of his film, many continue over and over again


It pains me to say but the team is a joke. A complete dysfunctional, embarrassment of a joke. 


Jones isn't the only problem but he is one of the biggest and at a minimum in the conversation of biggest problems.


He never should not have been given 5 years, happenstance didn't help the Giants in that regard..

If I were to rank them

1)  Mara/Tisch-  the guys hiring the GMs and HCs

2) Schoen and Daboll- no improvement (might be worse) after 3 years

3) Daniel Jones

He has had two major neck injuries and an ACL under Mara's employ.  It's far more than his "dignity" that he is protecting if he walked away from this dumpster fire of a franchise

Jones is 27. He is not retiring and ludicrous to even suggest that he will.

Daniel Jones is 27 and earned a bit over $107 million in his career.   He has suffered many injuries, including two major neck injuries and a torn ACL.  The only thing that is "ludicrous" suggests a wise man wouldn't walk away with all that money while he still can.    Sure, his competitive nature and toughness may get the better of his common sense, but it's hardly "ludicrous" to suggest he should make the smart move.
