Hasn't that been the case since Mara fired Coughlin?

Yes, because we have gone from a hall of fame coach to one joke after another.  Like Jones some have some unfounded love affair with this clown.

So we should keep the status quo just because... stability?

Quote from: Messiah717 on November 24, 2024, 02:58:27 PMYup, Daboll should go tomorrow.  Absolutely incompetent embarrassment.

I was on Daboll's side until the wildcat. He's lost whatever he had. He's cooked.

And to my point, many of you would keep that carousel spinning.

See "insanity" in Dictionary.com and there would be a link to this page.

You could argue that cuts both ways, as staying the course would qualify as well ;)

That's the unspoken part.

I've been pretty vocal about letting Schoen and Daboll pick their guy and seeing what they do with it.

They were handicapped with Jones from Day 1. And now people want to dump him.

I'm not suggesting Daboll has been flawless in his tenure. But he's been working from a deficit since he got here.

Hah!  I am very glad it's not up to me!  Whatever I decided, it would probably be wrong.  I feel what I feel, but hop them football people make the right choices.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Not hardly.

He guided an underwhelming roster to a playoff in in his first year. He was without his starter for the majority of his second year.

It's been a mixed bag of success and failure, so I disagree that it's been the same ol' all three years.

Jones isn't on the team; the drubbing we are witnessing today (coming off a bye against a team with a losing record) is 100% on Schoen and Daboll.

I agree but maybe he and Schoen should have made it clearer when they came that they pick their QB then. This QB guru should have known he was not coming to coach Josh Allen. Or they should have drafted one of the three QBs available to them on draft day. They are culpable too.

We have offered plenty as many reasons to support firing his ass as you have made for giving him a chance. I've seen so many questionable decisions (mainly how he managed our K injuries and decisions in game which have nothing to do with his yoda QB guru stuff.

Fair point

Although on the other side, one could point to firing Fassel and hiring Coughlin to show change can be for the better
