SMART, TOUGH, DEPENDABLE

Nabers was a mistake in terms of strategy; now he's looking more and more like a mistake in terms of a player.

His 3 drops were much more impactful than his late game heroic catch.

T200

He's starting to look like a player we can't depend on.

He's Slayton with a higher ceiling.

If they made more "mistakes" like Nabers they wouldn't be in this mess right now. Lamb dropped 3 passes. He a mistake too?

Another great quote worthy remark. Yup, keep enabling him folks. This is gonna end well.

Meanwhile, he might lead the league in drops per game average, or close to it. Thankfully there's Amari Cooper.

The mistake isn't Nabers. The mistake was taking a receiver before you had a QB. They should have drafted JJ or Penix or Nix. With Nabers they are 2-10 and need a QB next year. He does nothing for them until the QB is in place.

In the last 10 years this team has had maybe 5 players with great talent. Nabers happens to be one of them.

But the Giants decided to pretend Daniel Jones was the guy. No one can succeed with these receivers and blockers, blah, blah, blah. So they tried to address the receivers and blockers. Didn't work out.

Tom Brady during the game was mentioning how the Giant QB's going forward need to develop chemistry with Nabers.

He said he did the same thing with Randy Moss; he worked on throwing the ball 7 yards farther so that he wouldn't let Moss down.

Brady put Nabers in that class of talent, this team needs Nabers as he's one of the few legitimate lethal offensive threats the team has.

T200

Nabers needs a huge helping of humility. It's good to play with a chip and an edge but he also needs to have some self accountability.

Actually his drops per target or reception isn't that bad.

Unfortunately, Lock and Tommy have been throwing to the twos.

It's not the drops per se. I agree with him that they are going to happen. The problem is that he doesn't make them in the big moments.

I agree with this. The Giants may waste Nabers best years, but he could also be like Michael Irvin and Marvin Harrison who were drafted before their teams found their franchise QB.

Apparently it's a requirement. However he will never be mistaken for a leader.
