My point is what business fails misreably, and in the last 10 years increases 3.5 times in value. Put it this way, you work at a job and are horrible at it for the past ten years, yet are told don't worry you have a job, and we're going to pay you 3.5 times what you earned 10 years ago. Human nature alone, where is the incentive to improve? You really think he gives a $hit about us fans? Seat licenses, parking, ticket prices, food etc. He needs to be hurt financially to effect a real change. Remember it's a business. We keep getting reminded of that.

So true.

When Met Life pulls its name off the stadium, and other corporate sponsors choose to pull their support, then you'll start seeing Mara and Tisch act in tandem.

Peace!

Quote from: Giant Jim on December 15, 2024, 01:38:03 PMHow does theHow has the team's value increased compared to other NFL teams? The NFL's television and gambling contracts have the most to do with the increased value, not Tisch or Mara.

It is the result of belonging to a monopoly cartel.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

Q: Where is Steve Tisch in all this?

A: Who do you think is renting the plane to fly above the stadium! /sarcasm/

I don't think Tisch cares about W/L's if the checks are coming in.  He will pop up when they are doing well, but doesnt care otherwise.

Seems to be the situation.

Although I do remember him expressing displeasure during that late 2021 meltdown. Might have just been for show.
