There are three games left, and tomorrow's game Raiders vs Atlanta can move us to the #2 pick. As of now we pick #1. I for one don't see a sure-fire franchise QB. But I am not a GM, nor do I scout every college player, not my job.

I live in Los Angeles, and try to follow the top colleges, but lately I have treid to watch as much of Texas, Ole Miss, Miami, Colorado, PENN, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and LSU.....basically college teams with QBs that may come out in the 2025 draft as possible.

Seems at this late stage of the college season, as of now the top two QBs are Ward and Sanders. I have seen arguments of why each man should be #1. Again from what I have seen, I am not impressed, nor do I feel as though either guy is a franchise QB

If the Giants pick a QB...and say that the Giants could choose either guy. Who would YOU pull the trigger on?

Friend of mine says Ward would get off to a quicker start and be better for the short term but Sanders would be better long term.

Cam Ward
The guy is like Muhamed Ali in the pocket.
Seems to be well-grounded and eager to work to improve.
Quick release and wrist snap for making plays on the run.
I think Sanders and company will be too much of a side show for the Maras and they`ll opt for Cam Ward anyway.

What side show?

The biggest concern with Sanders that I think doesn't get enough attention is his Offensive Coordinator - Pat Shurmur, someone we should be quite familiar with.

And the one thing Pat is great at doing - making QBs look a lot better than they actually are. Including Daniel Jones, who got the "Danny Dimes" nickname playing under Shurmur.

Come on. Didn't you see that game of catch on the side of a road in Manhattan between Sanders and Nabors? What a side show!!!!

All seriousness, this why we can't have nice things.

Sanders brought an iced out Audemars Piguet watch worth $80,000 onto the field during a game just to use it to taunt the opposing fans. Knowing how conservative the Mara's are, especially when to comes to quarterback I doubt they want anything to do with Sanders. I think he's a wonderful talent but his dad has enabled some really poor behavior from him and his brother that won't go well in an NFL locker room. Stories are starting to percolate about how toxic the two brothers are towards their own teammates. Let the Raiders deal with it. They love that sort of bs. Give me Ward all day, every day.

Ward is the target for me Sanders to me would bring a lot of attention. I'm not sure you want that for the Giants because the media mob would have a field day with him and the Giants something like OBJ.

Overall I'm for drafting Hunter BPA and picking up QB in second round. I have a few that I like in the second round. Signing a stop gap QB for next year maybe an older QB that can show the ropes to the new QB. Someone like Tannehill, Marriota, Kirk Cousins as a stop gap until the QB is ready.

As for second round QBs or possibly trade up for are Allar, Beck, Dart Milroe, and McCord. There are some others I would consider as well. I don't expect the Giants to be great next year so a QB next year with another class is something to look at as well.

I don't want to blame Shedeur for the sins of his father, but he also has not done much to distance himself from his father either.  I get it - as a dad, I want what's best for my kid.  We looked the other way when Eli did it because we were the beneficiary.  While Sanders can say otherwise, he clearly expressed in the past that he would help Shedeur "pull an Eli" if he didn't like the team projected to draft him.  Being shrewd, Sanders is now back-pedaling up on that message to maintain leverage, but the cat's out of the bag.  It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that even IF Sanders were willing to send his son to NY his good will only lasts so long.  There are clearly people in Jackson still upset that he left after only a couple of years.  He unabashedly went after critics in the press to the point he tried to ban one from asking questions during press conferences.  He lobbied and whined and complained about any and every perceived slight or inquired around why his players and program weren't considered amongst the best.  I can do without trying to please Sanders SR by drafting Shedeur - I can only imagine the first time Shedeur has a bad game him calling into WFAN to argue.  This is a man who is your best friend when things are going well.

Frankly I don't want either Ward or Sanders.  Trade down, stack some picks including multiple first rounders in future years if possible, grab someone in the 2nd round like Quinn Ewers, Jaxson Dart, Garrett Nussmeier or Jalen Milroe, pick up a retread for a year like Kirk Cousins, Russ Wilson or even Justin Fields, and roll for a year.  If it works, great.  If not, you're in a position to go get a QB of higher caliber.  Whether Arch Manning follows in his families footsteps at the collegiate level remains to be seen, but he'd certainly be in the mix.

I am not big on either but there is more upside (and downside) with Ward. He is the punt to take for me. With Allar and Nussmeier both returning to college the day two QB long-shot ranks are thinning which will only increase the interest in Sanders and Ward.

We are the worst 1-2 teams in the NFL. We deserve the best QB available. You build a team with the QB and then around it  not the other way around. Why should not be settling for 2nd best.

A team in a city that once embraces a flashing QB nicknamed Broadway Joe should have no issues with a strong personality. I feel like many of you forget what city our team represents. Oh no national media is going to finally pay attention to the Giants? I thought we were some obscure small market!

Neither. Both are overrated and just happen to be the best of a very subpar class (which is getting even weaker as more announce they're returning to school).
