And If Kevin Stefanski is let go by the Browns, and it has been rumored , who would you prefer in order of preference : Kevin Stefanski, MIke Vrabel or Brian Flores ?

IF being the optimum word here of course .

Stringer Bell

Vrabel, Stefanski, Flores

0% Chance that Flores comes here in any capacity anyway with the lawsuit and whatnot.

I would not want Stefanski, but would be OK with Vrabel if he gets a good OC.

Flores would be my first choice as he was three years ago when the Giants blew it. But I know he's never coming because of the charade the Giants orchestrated. Vrabel would be next but there are many good candidates out there. Those have head coaching experience so I get that.

Out of curiosity why wouldn't you want Stefanski ,wasn't he coach of the year last year ? My question is moot as ED just sent a link that he would be back next year. I would like Vrabel but since Tom Brady has an ownership interests in the Raiders and he and Vrabel are supposed friends , he most likely would take the Raiders job over the Giants job.

Wow! The Giants AREN'T the only organization who performs nepotism hires! Who'da thunk it?

Peace!

I am trying to come up with viable names out there with head coaching experience . I am having trouble  Can you help me out ? I do not think that the Giants have to get one of those ," hot assistant coaches " who do not have any head coaching expereince . They need an adult in the room .

As to Flores , if Brandon Brown was elevated to GM , he could come

I want a defensive HC I'm done looking for the next offensive OC that has no experience. Vrable and Flores are my choices. I still believe that Spagnolo never got the opportunity he deserved. They should have kept him and allowed him to coach a few years with the Giants.

Daboll won coach of the year too, and many people here have their pitchforks up calling for his head.

So, I do not think that accolade matter in this regard, respectfully.

Vrabel, Vrabel, Vrabel.

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

You never answered why you wouldn't want Stefanoski

Going from Daboll to Stefanski at best, is a lateral move. Change for the sake of change is not a recipe for success.

Topshelf21

Vrabel please.

He must come with a bad rep or something because he should have GM's falling over each other to line him up for an interview.

I wonder what his deal is?

I'll answer it from my perspective.

While Stefanski has done some nice things, he has really struggled to get quality QB play out of his QBs. Baker Mayfield is tearing it up right now, and he failed under Stefanski.

Deshaun Watson was a Pro Bowler on the Texans and was wretched under Stefanski. I appreciate there may be other factors at work with Watson but he's still in his 20s and, to my knowledge, was reasonably healthy.

Winston isn't doing much under Stefanski, albeit was never spectacular in the first place.

With Mayfield he doesn't have that much of an excuse.

Since the Giants are totally unstable at the QB position, I wouldn't be looking to sign someone with that QB track record as head coach.
