Hi Dave,

You can just see he has a better feel for the game in my opinion, but that's from my point of view

Hi SXD,

If you had to compare Shedeur to a pro QB, whom would you compare him to? It doesn't have to be an active QB. Whom does he remind you of the most?

I'm for trading down. Pick up a veteran QB for a couple of years amass picks. Draft a QB in late first or second let QB learn under the veteran QB. This team is not a QB ready team they are a few years away from being QB ready. This team is depleted of talent in so many areas. I can't see a QB making a difference for the Giants right now. They don't have good coaching either this might be the main issue. I think it's going to be a disaster for a young QB that comes to the Giants. Right now being drafted by the Giants might be a career destroying move for them. Sanders is a sitting duck he gets sacked a lot. Ward I like a lot see a lot of Warren Moon in him. But again I don't if the Giants can help him make a good transition from College to Pro Football. Again pick up Kirk Cousins draft Dart, Molroe, McCord, Shough or Beck. If they can use the first for multiple picks I'm for it.

I can't compare him to anyone, but I will say this.

He throws a very catchable ball, you can see he's not trying to gun it in there, he's laying it out there allowing his receiver to make the catch. I like that.

He also is accurate while throwing on the run, something that DJ was not good at. I like that as well, especially when the pocket breaks down.

I also thoroughly enjoy that he's always looking down the field, love that actually.

How about yourself?

I like a lot of his attributes. He seems poised in the pocket, which I like, and he seems able to read defenses. He also does throw a nice ball, so I agree with you there.

His penchant for holding on to the ball too long is a concern. I also don't like the stuff about publicly throwing his teammates under the bus after a bad game. I have no tolerance for that.

Mixed bag for me.

Most of the football web sites don't have either guy in the top 3 and the few that do have Saunders as that guy

After all of DJ's checkdown throwsI want a QB who can sense pressure with his peripheral vision, create space for himself by moving away from pressure and have the confidence to throw it downfield.  I dont think that is either Sanders or Ward but I do think it is Milroe.  Their escapability is far inferior to Milroe.

It's why I would love to see the Giants draft BPA with their first and trade up to get Milroe later in round.  It will cost them less doing that than say the following draft if they finish 8th in draft and try trading up to say 2nd in draft.
