He was an UFA. Steelers like the Giants have one QB on the Roster.

No thanks, he's a shell of his former self, he can't even go through progressions.

I am very high on Dart, but he would have to sit for most of the year. It is a very brutal schedule for the Giants next year. Putting a rookie QB as a starter might shell shock him. The good thing about Dart is two:

1-At the very least he will be an excellent 2nd stringer at worse, I think with sitting he could be a starter towards the end of the season

2-He won't cost us the 3rd over-all pick.

IMO get Jamis Winston for two years and get a 2nd round QB (or wait until 2026 draft)

If we could get Wilson at a good price regardless of if we take a QB with pick 3, Wilson would be a good mentor to a young QB. Nobody....I repeat no body in this draft is a day one starter

Get a Guard, Tackle, CB1, and an EDGE. Build the team

I would sign Justin Fields. Best option out there, fairly cheap and has skills And Dumbo is the QB guru- why can't he elevate a QB? Wasnt that why he was hired??

Giants have nobody at QB.  They cant get cute and play "let's wait" as FA QBs can simply sign elsewhere and they are left with nobody and have to go into this draft with low quality QB prospects.  Any candidate will be only a 1-2 year stop gap unless they spin gold from straw.

Wilson, Fields, Mariota?  Get someone.

Use the draft to improve OL, DL, CB and WR.  Get this team protection, weapons and a stout run D.  Make it so when a QB is available next season he will be a plug and play with a top OL, pass catching weapons and a good running game.

Has this been confirmed? I've not seen a legit insider say this has happened.

Assuming the Steelers are not interested in Russell, the Giants  may have to beat our Pete Carroll in Vegas. 

I guess this means Fields will be staying there probably?

I was hoping they would keep him and let Fields walk.  This would indicate that the Steelers will lock Fields down before the start of free agency

Agree. All I've seen from the reputable sources is that it's "likely" that they will re-sign one or the other. Not both.

Which is in no way surprising.
