1---Raging Bull
2-- Rocky
3---Slap shot
4---Miracle
5---Pride of the Yankees

And as I said, 5 is hard so I'll add 5 more

6---Hoosiers
7---Bad News Bears
8---Seabiscuit
9---Field of Dreams
10--Cinderella Man

@LennG - you win, hands down, the best list.

I have to admit my list contains some of yours; however, I've got a few new ones not listed here; as well as an international film.

Without further adieu, my list:

1. Victory (1981) (Michael Caine, Sylvester Stallone, Pelé)

2. Pride of the Yankees (1942) (Gary Cooper)

3. The Club (1980 Australian Film) (Jack Thompson, Graham Kennedy, John Howard)

4. Miracle (2004) (Kurt Russell)

5. Forget Paris (1995) (Billy Crystal, Debra Winger)

----

Bonus:

B. Bull Durham (1988) (Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon)

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

Remember the Titans
Miracle
The Greatest Game Ever Played
Pelé: Birth of a Legend
Hoosiers

Interestingly, they are all based, to at least some extent, on actual people/teams.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

The Natural — the book is also really good and has a different ending.

Hoosiers — sentimental but well done

Slap shot

Rocky

Bad news bears

I wished I liked Miracle more. One of the great sports moments of my life along with the Giants SBs and the Yankees WS in the 90s.
