I don't believe I have seen the two movies that I missed, Dodgeball I know I have never seen and the Skeleton Key sounds familiar but I simply do not recall anything about it.

Dodgeball is a silly comedy about competing health club owners doing battle in a dodgeball tournament. Ben Stiller owns the Mega Globo Gym and wants to take over the small, struggling neighborhood gym, Average Joe's, owned by Vince Vaughn. Average Joe's regular clientele is a cast of wacky but loyal of misfits. A David vs. Goliath story of very nonsense proportions!
It's just a fun silly movie that is shown often on tv and when I see it I usually tune it. I find it good for quite a few laughs.

As I posted earlier as a hint, The Skeleton Key is a kind of gothic horror / mystery type flick wherein a hospice nurse working at a spooky New Orleans plantation home finds herself entangled in a mystery involving the house's dark past. Stars Kate Hudson, Gena Rowlands & John Hurt.
If anyone wants to give them a try I'd be interested to know what you thought about them.

good job Lou. Before I start giving hints, as I said in my other post, I believe all the movies are in the top 100 movies of all time.

Sometimes you don't recognize the first name or the last name as that is not how they may have been known in the movie. like #3--think the first name only, I don't even know if his last name was even mentioned.

Tim, a lot of the movies you & the other "young" guys put up are ones I've never see; just like an old fogey like me puts up older movies.  Although, I must say that ozzie puts up his share of older stuff.

You guys are chipping away at the list, so let me help you all out a bit

#3-- An easy one if you just take the first name. He is bad.

#5 was a tricky one, so substitute Father instead of his first name

#7-- Another toughie--think comedy about a very and a bit weird lady with her name as the title

#8-- and Jim will kick himself for not getting this one --'Pilgram'
