Why they killed off Logan, right in the middle of the season was very weird. We thought maybe something really happened to Brian Cox, but I Googled it and even he was surprised when he was killed off. He said they told him he would die in the show at some point, but he said he assumed it would be in the last season. He was, by far, the most intriguing character.

And not to get political, but this show of characters reminded me so much of a certain political family, where the father would do anything to achieve a goal, even throw any of his kids under the bus. I wonder if he was the model they had in mind while writing theis series.

I am fairly sure the Logan Roy character is modeled after Rupert Murdoch. I think they have pretty much said this.

As to killing him off in the middle of the season, I guess they wanted to show the kids trying to pick up the pieces and duke it out with each other for who gets to be in charge. I definitely thought the show missed his presence once he was gone. Although I did enjoy the finale.

As far as the 9th and final season of "Suits", it's 10 episodes long and is worth it as it kinds of wraps up all the characters lives. Which is nice because it doesn't leave you hanging like some series do

I found out that Amazon Prime has season 9 and we have that. Btw, what is the most over-used line in the entire show? Every time someone says it Linda and I repeat it for laughs.

Rick Hoffman was outstanding in the role of a very complicated character. He Litt it up.

Absolutely. I hated his character so much I wondered why they included him... and slowly found myself liking him a lot, especially at the very end. It was a very tough role to play and he nailed it!

Another actor/actress who started out as someone I absolutely despised, but by the end, became my favorite character in the show: Yael Grobglas (played "Petra Solano" in "Jane the Virgin")...which, BTW, if you watch TV with your wife, you will both love it!

Talk about tough roles, I read a story yesterday about a man who was the exact opposite of the man he played on stage: Dean Martin in real life never partied, drank very little (would have apple juice in a glass to look like whiskey and pretend to be inebriated, was quiet and friendly, and was a family man who couldn't wait to get home to his family after a show. That surprised me to no end...whooda thunk 

Another actor who nailed his role but in real life was just the opposite: Carrol O'Conner (May he RIP - great man)
Also, Dennis Franz (Detective Andy Sipowicz on NYPD Blue). Family man, liked flowers and antiquing with his wife. Talked like a "fem" in his real life...LOL

Don't know why but I thought there was definitely going to be a Season 5, but it sure looks like this show has run it's course. Still, I enjoyed several of the episodes but others not so much. I really never saw or felt where all the hub-bub about this show came from.

I was trying to go back and remember some of the things I watched while on hiatus.

Mayor of Kingstown was very good.

I mentioned UFO (a short series) on paramount+

The Offer, about how The Godfather was made was one of my favorite watches this entire year. A GREAT show

For comedy, we watched Ghosts, the CBS show, now shown on Paramount. God for a while, then the novelty of it wears a bit thin.

We also watched Poker Face and just got tired of it after a few episodes and never looked back.

Hunters, with Al Pacino was pretty good and I enjoyed both seasons very much

As for now that Sussession has ended, we are turning our attention to Star Trek, Brave New World.  Anyone?

Alos, now that Yellowstone is over for me, I am going to sample The Last of Us or Yellowjackets.

So we started watching 'The Mandalorian last night, something we were planning on doing since it started. Can't really comment yet as we only watched on episode.

We also started watching Star Trek--Strange New World. I was a bit surprised by this,a s we are only 3 episodes in, but I fully expected a continual storyline instead of each week (episode) a new story and problem, similar to the old Star Treks. Love the cast so far. The stories have been a bit weak, so I hope, as in many of the other Star Treks, some are better than others.

I also have 'Dark Winds' on my radar. I watched season 1 when it was out and enjoyed it, but I will wait until all the episodes drop and then binge on it.

I do watch some 'regular' TV. I am a huge fan of these Survival type shows. One in particular, 'Alone', I believe on the History Channel, to me, is great. I have watched and enjoyed every season. I also watched 'Naked and Afraid' since its inception. No, I do not watch to see the participants' butts, but it is very interesting how they get along and try and survive for weeks, naked in really remote areas. Anyway, I fully enjoy shows like this.

As for several other things we have watched
ON Paramount, Tammy, and George, a limited series about Tammy Wynette and George Strait and their relationships for many years. I am also a huge country music fan, so this was particularly nice for us. I have also watched one of the newest series by Ken Burns, on Country Music, and fully enjoyed all 6 (I believe) chapters in that.

I don't remember if I mentioned 'Tulsa King' as it has been a while since I watched this, but it was truly a great watch. Stallone was simply terrific as a gangster basically banished to Tulsa OK and how he manages to sort of take over out there. Funny as hell and very entertaining.

I also FINALLY, watched the last season of Dexter, one of my favorite all-time series. I didn't have Showtime, to be able to watch, but when it tagged onto Paramount, I was able to view it. While the original (at least the first 4 seasons) was 'must-watch TV' this last season was better than some of the final ones in the series. I enjoyed this very much.
A side note on this last season. As some know, from my photos, I visit this town in Mass, Shelbourne Falls, where they have this old trolly bridge that has been transformed into what is now 'The Bridge of Flowers, where the entire bridge is like botanical gardens. So, on watching Dexter, I automatically recognized this bridge and knew right away, that this was being filmed in this town. We visited the town over the summer, as we always do, and spoke to some of the townsfolk and indeed, they said that they filmed there for about 6 months, and for the winter scenes, made huge amounts of snow.

@LennG did you see the movie "Arrival"? It's on Netflix and I saw it last night.

We do not have Netflix anymore, but if this is the movie that came out maybe 10 years ago, (space ships landing on earth) I have seen it. I remember the premise, but I don't think I was awed by it. Felt it was a bit too talky and not enough action or suspense.
