I'm starting to feel this way too. Although a bad injury would be catastrophic, at least if they continue to stubbornly refuse to sit him we'll probably lose out and can get Shedeur.

Until he inevitably gets hurt and we're on the hook for the rest of his contract. His ass should be in the bench.

The suffering will continue until QB play improves.

I had  my military drill weekend last weekend and win or lose I record the games and watch it

Last weekends game is the first game in I think EVER that I haven't  gone to my recordings to watch the game

The interception was not necessary Jones made bad decision trying to throw a pass to a guy that was covered...hind sight 20/20 but why not fake throw pull it down and run

6 for 14, 51 yards, 3.9 YPA, zero touchdowns, one pick, 24.1 passer rating.

It's all about the play calling though.

I don't see anyone saying "it's just the play calling."

2 things can be true at once. DJ is a terrible QB. And Daboll is a terrible play-caller.

When your QB stinks, and has stunk all year, why call a trick pass play on 3rd-and-1? It shows a complete lack of awareness of his team's strengths and weaknesses.

Bull$hit. He peaked his rookie year nd has been a ham sandwich ever since. Every other franchise would have popped smoke three years ago.

This is the second time I've made this statement this year.  If Tommy D was our QB today, we would be winning or at least tied.  DJ has been that bad...again.

I would respectfully push back. It most certainly is the QB but in certain instances like today it can be a combination of both. We have seen Daboll get cute plenty of times without success.  Today is a prime example is all.

I know; I was being sarcastic.  That was a quote from a poster this offseason.  If you couldn't tell exactly what DJ was years ago, I don't know what to tell you.

He's not terrible though .... Average ? Maybe

But if we had a qb who converts  consistently on plays with wide open receivers like that flea flicker then Dabolls playcalling wouldn't even be considered an issue at this moment
