To top it off, Sheridon is a busy man. Besides producing the 5th season of Yellowstone, he is producing THREE other prequels to Yellowstone that got pushed back during COVID

1) 2nd Season of "1923" will drop in Spring '25
2) 1st Season of "1944" will drop soon after (probably a year out)
3) "The Madison" (another prequel to Yellowstone [sequel to 1923]) will drop in Spring '25
4) Will there be a 6th season of Yellowstone? Many insiders believe there will be one, but that's not official

If you are a fan of the Yellowstone series and all it's offshoots, there's a lot to look forward to

And of course, Sheridan's "Landmark" drops this week as mentioned in my previous post, the last one on page 81 of this thread
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

I finished Disclaimer on Apple TV, which is a bit slow and brooding, but it's alright. We have one more episode of the Aaron Hernandez story on Disney+, which my Mrs. is really enjoying (much to my surprise).

We've started two things —The Penguin and a general Batman universe fair (which I enjoy), but Collin Farell is excellent. We've also started The Day of the Jackel, which is a Sky Atlantic/HBO (I think) production, so it should be on in the US. In short, I've found the first five episodes to be outstanding. It is simply the best television I've seen in a long time, and if you like the story, I implore you to check it out.

I saw an ad for Day of the Jackal and even though I have seen the original movie a couple of times, the story is great. That I will check out.

OK folks, we just finished the last season of "Only Murderers In The Building' and enjoyed it very much. This show is basically the same each year, anyone can be the killer and it is more about the stars and some of the supporting cast that you really tune in to see. Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez are terrific in their roles, each compliments the other and really, are a joy to watch. The plot lines are really secondary as they do what they want, and again, anyone can be the killer.
If this show is your thing, you will enjoy this last season as much as you enjoyed the previous ones.
Just to add, they scooped up a bunch of 'stars' for this season. Not giving anything away, but they are going to make a movie of our 'podcasts' and got 3 Hollywood names to play them. Eugene Levy is hilarious. Also, Ron Howard, when he does appear is just great for the few minutes he is onscreen.

Sit back and enjoy.

Oh, they have already set the plotline for next season as it always ends with a new murder.

Yes, we've enjoyed each of these seasons and I enjoyed the 4th just as much as the others.

I know these shows aren't for everyone, but my wife and I are enjoying 'Secrets of the Skinwalker Ranch'. I think I mentioned this a while back that we sort of 'love' these types of shows. We are now 2 1/2 seasons into this show and although we don't turn it on every time we sit down to watch we do watch about 3 episodes a week. If you believe in things like this, you will love this show. Google Skinwalker Ranch and most of the things that come up are shown in actuality on the show, it is not fiction.

For a while now, my wife got me to watch the show on Lifetime, 'Married at First Sight' where 5 couples, sight unseen, meet for the first time at the alter, get married, go on a honeymoon, and live together for 8 weeks when then they have to decide if they want to stay married. They are legally married.
As I said, my wife got me to watch this show and we love it. It gets us to talking about how to improve our marriage, any marriage, and as a sort of outsider, we can see what some of these couples do right and wrong. The success rate for these couple, over the past 4-5 years isn't great, but  we love this show.

Me and my wife love 90 Day Fiance. All the versions of it like 90 Day Fiance Before the 90 Days. It's basically about Americans who fall in love with someone who lives overseas.

Lots of things the couples have to work out like the cultural differences.

Well another great series in the book as I just finished Tulsa King this AM. A terrific second season and better than season 1.
This role was meant for Sly as was Rocky. If he is your thing, you will simply love this series. If not, watch something else because he is the entire show.

I have grown to really enjoy British and Aussie TV.  What they share with us is often superior to what America TV offers (especially network TV).

Lately, I have been watching a program through Amazon Prime called "Packed to the Rafters."  It's a little older (10 - 15 years old), but it's well-written and acted, and it keeps me entertained.

From Wikipedia

Packed to the Rafters is an Australian family-oriented comedy drama television program which premiered on the Seven Network on Tuesday 26 August 2008 at 8:30 pm. The show continued on Tuesdays in this timeslot for its entire run. The drama series features a mix of lighthearted comedy woven through the plot. It revolves around the Rafter family facing work pressures and life issues, while also tackling serious social issues. The Logie award winning series was the highest rating to screen on the Seven Network in 2008, and the show was consistently among the top 5 shows of the year throughout its run in Australia.

I agree that he's perfectly cast in Tulsa King. Great show. Maybe not so much for Chickee. Personally, I've never seen Rocky (I know, I know...I've taken a lot of grief for admitting it), but for me, I think his role as John Rambo was his signature movie...at least in the first one (First Blood). His melt down at the end was worthy of an Oscar. Superb acting and one of the hardest performances for any male actor to ever do. Sobbing, trying to talk, falling apart, really demonstrating the burden many soldiers deal with when returning to civilian life. It was that moment that I said to myself, "now there's a man who can act...wow"

I have to say, the first two episodes of this latest installation of "Yellowstone" have been absolutely lights out, in my opinion. Both have been 10 out of 10 caliber episodes for me. I can't wait for Sunday.
