Good point.

H-Town G-Fan

I can't imagine meaningless wins in a lost season would be the difference between Daboll/Schoen being retained or not (especially when meaningless wins last year lost them a shot at Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye). I do think that losses could exacerbate locker room issues which, if they get bad enough, may require intervention. I don't foresee that, but it's not out of the question.

I've gone on record as saying the only way Daboll loses his job is by losing the locker room. Going winless will not be the reason.

As much as it burns Mara up, he's giving into Schoen and Daboll's vision. It's only right. Then, and only then, can he hold them 100% accountable. As it should be.

Bobby and Justin are always an informative listen, btw. A must for us fans with their clarity and evals about the Jints.

Yup, I thought a couple more losses and the bottom would fall out.  Instead the unhappiness in the locker room showed its face on the field already.

Hearing Daboll speak just now - he knows he's done. It's over

I do as well but on the other hand I also feel he kinda didn't backup his coaches last year and used them as a means to buy himself time. It didn't work

What actually did fans think was going to happen?  The Giants best RB is rookie, their best WR is a rookie, their best TE is a rookie, 4 of 6 ol are injured, and their starting an UDFA rookie QB who hasn't played a game in a year.  Today's performance was completely predictable and not something to be displeased with.  The rookies will get better, and the Giants are heading for a top draft pick.

Yeah, he made his bed, but I have always hated to see someone losing their jobs.

He got paid millions to do a job and failed. He didn't go out of his way to endear himself to anyone - players, fans, media.

I don't dance on anyone's grave, but I don't feel bad for him at all.
