I thought I read somewhere that the finale of "1923" had played, so I jumped in and started binging it. But the series is NOT complete and now I'm left hanging on, week to week, to see what happens next, and the suspense is killing me

Absolutely a terrific show with basically three storylines going at once - all interesting in their own respect and could be a stand-alone series. Anyway, if there are people on here waiting until the entire series has dropped, let it be known that there only 6 episodes out of 8 that have dropped. The finale will be dropped on April 13th. The suspense is so strong, I suggest to anyone who wants to watch it, wait until then. I'm mad at myself for screwing up and thinking it was over  ~X(

As a sidenote, this might be Taylor Sheridan's best work, but warning, don't get attached to any single character as it's a pretty bloody show, and beware that there is a lot of full nudity and pretty blatant sexual scenes, not to mention, men beating the crap out of women and/or treating them as if they were animals instead of humans. Certainly not for kids!
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

I love the show but heard they dropped the 8th episode and there is only 7 this season. Not sure if it is true or not but that is what I heard.

The TV service says 8, but the show is advertising the season finale this Sunday, which would make it only 7. And it would have to be a lot longer than an hour as there's three concurrent stories going on and all of them need to have some kind of conclusion. So, if there's only 7, probably going to be a season 3

As I understand it, they are making a show in the 50's as the next generation of Duttons continue the trek to the current Yellowstone show. I hope so, but I don't want 1923 to be cut short

Here's my best guess as to how it wraps up. Alexandra freezes to death in the backseat of a car...Spencer gets to the ranch and saves it, but is heartbroken that his wife has died...Spencer and Elizabeth then hit it off bonding over both recently lost their loved ones...they end up married and take over for the 50s series...lol

Who knows...I just want to see the death scene of Donald (Tim Dalton). He's come a long way from being James Bond, lol

We are deep into the new season of ' The White Lotus' and, like the previous seasons, it is still very good. If no-one has seen this series, all seasons are stand-alone, but there are characters that reappear in this season that were in last season also.
It is a quirky type of series, parts amusing and parts dramatic.
The While Lotus is a resort (they are all over the world) and the events follow a group of people who are staying at the resort for a week. Each person has their own desires and their own reasons for staying here, asd I said, some very amusing, others a lot more dramatic. But it all works.
We love it.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

My wife and I are big fans of the show too, Lenn. This season doesn't compare to season two in my opinion, however I thought season two was on one of the best seasons of any TV show in recent memory. So that's not really a knock on this season, just that I didn't think season 2 could be topped.

Are you fully up to date? I have a question for you, but it would involve spoilers. Let me know and I'll PM you.

Sounds like a modern day 'Fantasy Island'. We may check it out.

In a way, Tim, it is. Give it a shot, I think you and Sharon will like it.

I started the first episode of Mobland with Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy, Pierc Brosnan, and so many more. I watched it and literally thought Taylor Sheridan made a modern British mob show that gives yellowstone Britian without the horses.

This afternoon, I just wrapped up Yellowstone- finally.

I have enjoyed this series immensely and have waited very patiently for the second half of season 5 to finally be made and broadcast, only to have it appear on a channel I didn't have. Again, waiting patiently for it to be part of the Peacock lineup, I was finally able to finish this remarkable series. So If anyone hasn't seen this series or just the final several episodes and do not want to know anything, leave now.

                *****  SPOILER ALERT ********

I would really like to discuss these final episodes, as I was a bit overwhelmed by certain things. I knew Kevin Costner wasn't coming back, and all the leaked things basically saying he would be killed off or at least die.  That happened within minutes of the opening. I can't say I was upset by it, as I basically felt something like this had to happen. So, now with him dead, the writers had to figure out how to proceed.
So my reaction, I felt the entire last episodes were so damn depressing. Again, this is just me and my take on it. They made Beth more the center-piece of the show. I was just never a huge fan of Beth. Yes, she had her moments but I always viewed her as a spoiled, rich "Princes' who didn't give a rats ass about anyone, rules, laws and even tradition. Some probably would find that appealing and kind of nice for a TV show, but I never really warmed up to her and most times found her to be sort of offensive. Yes, she had her 'nice' moments, but overall, she was not my favorite character.
I know Dutton's death overwhelmed most of the second half, but I felt the show lost some of what made it must-see TV. Don't get me wrong, it was still very entertaining and well written, but maybe a bit too dramatic and over-acted in many scenes.
Again, not being a huge fan of Beth, I was very annoyed that she murdered Jamie and got away with it. Jamie wasn't the nicest guy, but he really didn't deserve to get killed off that way.
It just seemed sad that through the 5 years of this show and two prequels, it was all about Yellowstone, the ranch, the land, and how people fought and died for that, and in the end, it was all for nothing. I can accept that the Indians deserved the land, but I still felt the entire last episodes were much more depressing and ended on that fact than the other 4 1/2 years of the show.

I've yet to watch the final season of Yellowstone, for the same reason you waited. And I quit reading your post at the spoiler section so that I can be surprised. Have you been watching the second season of 1923. It's not complete yet (I thought it was, and it's why I jumped into it). Six episodes have dropped, and the finale is tonight or next Sunday night. It's a little confusing as there's contradicting information being broadcast. Anyway, if you haven't watched it, it's bone-chillingly good. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren were exceptional choices for the lead Dutton family. But all the actors are excellent...and I enjoy seeing Elizabeth (Michelle Randolf who played Aynsley [Billy Bob's saucy daughter in Landman]) in a different role. Trying to figure out how the Native American saga going on simultaneously fits into the overall theme of the show  :-??

They were making a beth and rip spinoff and a kaycee spin off but have now decided to put the two together, with Kaycee being the new patriarch.

Watch the season finale and tell me what you think. There won't be season 3 it seems.

I definitely will. 'm sure there is no season 3, judging by the ages of Ford and Mirren (and she's starring in Mobland with Pierce Brosnan). But there are rumors of a 50's series that connects 1923 to Yellowstone. I'm just curious who gets to be the patriarch of the family
