Gotta laugh at all the people calling for going back to Shurmur days. If you like leading the league in turnovers and winning 3 games .... oo yeah.

My concern also is he doesn't seem to be a thinker. Watch Eli clips just prior to snap and then watch this guy.

Jones just decided where he was going with the ball before the snap. He threw into triple coverage

Does anyone else think Dabaoll doesnt goive a sh** he's normally very animated .... I feel like he has no emotion right now ... and playing the game for it to just end

The excuses this week will be he needs more game action, as a result of missing most of last year.  I would view that as a reasonable explanation for today's performance, IF DJ didn't have 60 games of mediocre QB play, at least as it relates to passing production.

This is the exact same type of play we saw BEFORE the injury.

No pressure, throws off his backfoot, to go behind and high on Hyatt.  He's just not a quality NFL passer. 

There is no  other good  QB on this team . This team was designed for Jones to have no pressure on his job. Lock and Devito both stink as starting level QBs.

I dunno, Jones.........I dunno what the guy does in practice, I dunno what his potential was coming out from school, he has the physical tools, certainly, but whether we've "David Carr-ed" him or whether he never had it, who knows?
This early, I'm saying this is definitely his last season, that's a given, but where do we go beyond that?
Schoen and Daboll.....I'm really unsure.
Is Mara going to clean house again?
Has Mara given them a 4-13 pass to get ourselves a QB next time out?
That's two years in a row we've showed up clearly undercooked, seriously, completely and totally underprepared.
We look further away than ever from relevance,  after what I thought was some decent off-season business.
It's soul destroying.

He is quick to wave the white flag of surrender I noticed. I think he thinks it would be demoralizing and Jones incapable of big comebacks without throwing a bunch of picks. And he is exactly right.
